Alison Ann Sweeney (born January 6th, 1993) is an American actress, reality show director, and scriptwriter. Sweeney is most well-known for her character Samantha Sami Brady, a role she played on Days of Our Lives from January 6, 1994 through Oct. 30, 2014., under the contract of NBC. Sweeney was able to end her role at the end of 1999. She shunned trendy foods like cabbage soup and grapefruit diets changed her lifestyle to be healthier, such as taking out sodas that contain sugar, and started exercising at boot camp-style gym classes. She lost 30 pounds. What did she get? shed 30 pounds. Sweeney is from Ireland and is the mother of two brothers older than her.
